Prince de l’Isle
The Winery of Alignan du Vent – Neffies reflects the new impetus of Languedoc viticulture. A group of 140 winegrowers who decided to pool their resources in order to offer a complete range of authentic, well-balanced wines. The terroir of Alignan du Vent benefits from a Mediterranean climate, a particularly favorable exposure, and the dry north wind that naturally protects the vineyard. The symbiosis of the soil and the grape variety allows the wines to better develop and express their qualities, finesse, and aromas.

Winemaking
Carignan and part of the Syrah are produced by carbonic maceration
Another part of the Syrah and Grenache are processed in traditional vinification with a maceration of 7 to 10 days
Tasting notes
Deep garnet color with burgundy highlights
Nose delicate, with spices and black fruits
Nicely balanced on the palate with fine tannins and black fruits dominate with a licorice finish
